It all started with three middle-aged mates who shared a common love for collecting. From vintage movie posters to rare action figures, we found joy in hunting down unique items that sparked nostalgia and excitement. Our collections grew, and so did our desire to share these treasures with others. That’s when the idea of The Pool Room was born.

If you’re familiar with the iconic Australian film The Castle, you’ll understand the significance of our store’s name. In the movie, Darryl Kerrigan proudly displays his prized possessions in “the pool room,” a place of honour for items that hold special meaning. Just like Darryl, we believe that every piece of memorabilia deserves a place of pride. Our online store is our version of the pool room, where every item has a story and a special place.
